Echoes of Dream

This series shows plants, animals, and shells that I see in everyday life. They all belong to nature, and I am interested in how their shapes and forms can relate to each other. For example, the curves of flowing water can be similar to the shapes of mountains, and I combine these elements together to create a harmonious composition. All the artworks have empty spaces. These spaces can represent endless possibilities, continue beyond the frame, or give the viewer a space to imagine and breathe.
I use soft colors and gentle layers to create a calm and dreamy atmosphere. I work with media such as oil paint and colored pencils. Sometimes I use papers with different textures and wooden boards as the base, combining mixed media to create delicate lines and textures. The empty spaces and soft curves make the artworks feel flowing and light, like the breathing of nature or fragments of a dream. Through this series, I aim to show the connection between natural forms and everyday details, inspiring feelings of peace, curiosity, and reflection in the viewer.

Becoming Part

Strong wind blows, and the leaves sway, forming curves. Raindrops fall slowly, landing on the feet, and the water gradually merges into them. The rain grows heavier, and the person stands in the rain, gradually blending with the water. Water flows along the feet and body, until the person is fully surrounded by rain, becoming part of it.
As the downpour intensifies, the figure becomes blurred and almost indistinguishable. The feet and body fully merge with the rain, and the person is no longer separate from the water. The scene captures the moment of complete integration, where the rain seems to carry and transform the person, creating a quiet, flowing harmony between human and nature.

Morning, after Rain
早晨,雨後

This painting shows a forest after rain in the early morning. The rain has stopped, but the mist still floats in the air, covering the forest, while traces of rain remain on the ground. Soft sunlight shines through the mist, illuminating the trees and creating a feeling that is both warm and slightly cool. The outlines of the trees appear faint and mysterious, and the curves of flowing water and the lines on the ground seem to move gently across the scene.
The scene has a sense of mystery, with the forest ahead partly hidden. Empty spaces give the composition room to breathe and extend the forest, conveying the calm and dreamlike atmosphere after the rain. The soft, flowing lines and gentle layers create a light, dreamy feeling, highlighting subtle moments of nature and the unique atmosphere of an early morning after rain, blending freshness, coolness, and warmth.
